Border to Hel is an annual relay race and Swords Athletics’s flagship event. It began as a punk/DIY project, with seven runners covering 400 km from Świnoujście to Hel in two days, non-stop. This year, the route flipped direction – starting in Wiżajny and ending in Hel, covering 466 km through remote landscapes, Mazury’s lakes, and Gdańsk’s historic sites. The race keeps growing, with 25 teams taking part, including several from abroad, while maintaining its intense yet vibrant atmosphere.
